Sandra Frazier, 81, of Albion, Illinois, died Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Carmel, Illinois. She was born August 25, 1940, in Edgar County, Illinois, the daughter of Harlan and Eleanor (Richards) Rose. She was married to James F. Frazier, Sr., on January 30, 1959, and he preceded her in death on December 27, 2000.
Sandra was a homemaker and member of Ridge Church in Grayville. She was an avid reader and enjoyed quilting. Much of her leisure time was spent at the Edwards County Senior Citizens Center with her dear friends, Gary Mason and Stan Struckmeyer.
Survivors include son James F. Frazier, Jr. and his wife Susan of Albion; brothers Keith (Kay) Rose of Springfield, Illinois, Emil (Vicki) Rose of Williamsville, Illinois, Bruce (Sally) Rose of Grayville; sister Marie (Bob) McElroy of Fairmount, Illinois; nine grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; children Earl Frazier, Cathy James; sisters Carol Hodgson and Sharon Rose.
Graveside services will be at 10 am, Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Oak Grove Cemetery in Grayville. There is no prior visitation.
Memorials may be made in Sandra’s honor to Albion Senior Citizens Center, 323 North 5th Street, Albion, IL 62806, and will be accepted at Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville who is in charge of arrangements.
