Phyllis J. McKibben, 74, of Albion, Illinois, died Friday, June 28, 2019, at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, Indiana.  She was born December 31, 1944, in Grayville, Illinois, the daughter of Joe and Nellie (Sons) Alldredge.  She was married to Danny McKibben and he preceded her in death on August 8, 2008.

Phyllis was retired from Champion Laboratories in Albion, where she worked as an assembler.  She enjoyed playing the game Criminal Case on her computer and she became an avid reader after she obtained her Kindle e-reader.  She attended the Baptist Church in Albion.

Survivors include son Jeff McKibben of Evansville; daughters Danielle (Chris) Fulton, Janice McKibben, all of Albion; brothers Larry Alldredge of Crossville, Illinois, Derris (Eugenia) Alldredge, Alan (Sandy) Alldredge, all of Grayville; sisters Rose (Lester) Pritchard of Albion, Cindy (Lowell) Rhodes of Grayville; grandchildren Chase McKibben, Caleb Sutton, Cameron Fulton, Cade Fulton.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter Tina McKibben; sisters Mary Clark, Marilyn James, Linda Clark; brothers Tom, Mike and Jack Alldredge.

Funeral services are pending at Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville and will be posted at a later date.

      I have all ready got ready to pick up the phone and dial 618 445 3325 and then caught myself and said no more calling that number! God Bless you Jeff, Janice and Danielle, I know the Spirit of God is hovering over you as I write this. As she always told me I pray a lot and I know God hears me…… i believe that too. A wonderful, tender woman, who was always ready with a helping hand for any who needed it. She so loved her Grandchildren and she still does May Gods perfect peace that passes all understanding be with you all.
