Charles Junior Crane, 75, of Crossville, Illinois, died Tuesday, July 09, 2019, at his home.  He was born September 30, 1943, in Berryville, Illinois, the son of Charles Winslow Lawrence Crane and Jennieveva (Lathrop) Crane.

Charles was a Navy veteran.  His work career as an assembler included working for Federal Mogul, Ford Motor Company, and Airtex.  He was an avid auto racing fan.

Survivors include sons Charles Jeffery (Christina) Crane of Paragould, Arkansas,  and Chris Kremer of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; daughter Carissa (Stan) Hunt of Vandalia, Illinois; brother Michael (Faye) Crane; sisters Vera Terrell and Ruth Ann Richardson; and numerous grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers Victor Lawrence Crane, Max Allison Crane and Robert Edwin Crane.

Visitation is 5-7 pm, Thursday, July 11, 2019, at Cook Funeral Chapel in Crossville.  Funeral will be at 7 pm, Thursday, July 11, 2019, immediately following the visitation.  Burial with military rites will be at 9:30 am, Friday, July 12, 2019, at Shiloh Cemetery near Berryville, Illinois.
